x86 will only use 2.97 gigs of memory so you have to have x64 to use the extra

Just because it runs great doesn't mean it runs natively. WOW64 (Windows on Windows64) is an x64 to x86 call translator which all x86 Windows apps use to run on x64. It works extremely well and is very fast, and you often don't notice a difference between x86 apps natively running on XP Pro x86 and x86 apps running through WOW64 on XP Pro x64. So again, are you absolutely sure that they run natively?
