Socket 939 AMD Athlon 64 3400+

Ok here is the deal, I got this proc. running 2.75ghz at 1.58v with 240mhz on fsb, 1.58v on fsb, and a 11x multiplier, I run a custom water block I made at work on a CNC mill with a swiftech pump, and radiator. it runs idle at 40c and 50c with 100% cpu usage for 2 hours thanks to a CPU burn in tool. I have had this thing running currently for 5 days straight and no freezes at all and only restarts are because of new installs. I also game with it in BF2, and COD2 very cpu and ram intensive. Now the question??? how hot can I get this thing, and how much farther can I go before I need to worry or have I hit a limit that I shouldn't exceed.

under 55-60c if no freezes and maybe 2.8 tops?

Yeah keep her under 55c, although my ccbwe 3700+ (a toledo with a broken core) is running the same settings as you, prime load at 37c, rock on air cooling lol.

any chance at 3.0ghz or is it just to much for a 3400+ or do I need better liquid for my water cooler running staight distilled water for max heat dispersion.

Im not to informed as to water cooling, but did you seat the waterblock with the correct amount of tim. Too much will hold heat back, personally I like to keep mine below 55c, but 60c is a safe max, no higher. The lower loads the better.
