hold on. i think we must first get past the most important part of overclocking.

can you overclock that machine?

i don't think you can overclock a OEM / stock machine from a corporate company. i couldn't overclock my 866 p3 HP machine

he probably wont be able to OC in bios, but he may be able to download a software based OC program such as clockgen or the like.
