CL3P20 is correct... you are wrong.

Pressure is not based on velocity. It is basically how hard a fan can push.

Analogy Time
A sports car can go 200MPH unloaded but can go say 50MPH when pulling a 3000lb load. A truck can go 120MPH unloaded but can go 80MPH when pulling a 3000lb load. The truck can exert more force = pressure. Just because the sports car is faster, it doesn't mean it can do more work. Work = force.

the point was that a smaller fan will create more pressure flowing the same as a larger fan . which is correct .

I must admit I didn’t read CL3P20 post correctly so my post doesn’t make a whole lot of sence as i should have been agreeing with him not disagreeing with him .. so sorry

No worries.

So back on topic... that rad with 80mm fans will not be able to handle a 226w TEC at full power well.
