Need a cheap board for e4300\4400 BSEL mod

Thread Starter
I am looking for a cheap board that is known to work with the BSEL or pin mod on an e4300 or e4400 cpu. I would like to save as much $$$ as possible.
I would also like a board that I can O.C. a little after the mod. Any suggestions? Please give links

Well, I know the Biostar TForce 965PT supports it after a BIOS update, it's $104.99 board and it OC's rather well.

The Gigabyte 650i SLI-DS4 is the best sub-$150 over-clocking board, but it doesn't support a 266 FSB strap on the E4300 which leads me to believe perhaps the 965P DS3/S3 don't.

I was thinking gigabyte ds3 but I would really like to know which version has the solid caps and also if it works with the BSEL mod.

Ds3/S3 (ds3 has solid caps) does not work with the bsel mod. Biostar works with teh bsel mod, not sue what others do either.

If I was NOT going to do the BSEL mod, which one would you recommend? The biostar tforce 965pt or the Gigabyte DS3?

( And what is good ram for overclocking without costing an arm or two?? DDR2 800 )

Personally I do not like the s3 bios and I liked the biostar much better but you dont have raid which is its only downfall (imo).

you can get 2x1gb of the gskill hz for about $110 I think. thats a good deal
hers a link

simmer down man, I was just saying that I dont like there bios. I dont like the voltage options like why cant they jsut say the voltage that your giving it insteead of the .1.2.3.4 or whatever it is. and the ram dividers I like knowing what they are instead of 1 2 3 4 so on and so forth.

Its not that they are bad I just dont like the setup. I also couldnt get above 410 fsb with my s3 so its been the worst ocing 965 board ive gotten so far. Now I know some of these are good ocing boards its just my experience with them.
