So i recently acquired some cash, and decided the need to upgrad...

Choices:
8800gts 640
HD2900xt

or switch to c2d platform

Seems like the C2D upgrade would not only be more effective (remove your bottleneck) but also cheaper.

However, 8800GTS 640 > 2900XT, just because i'm like that.
