Temperature reading program

Thread Starter
I repaired Windows XP after it became corrupted. Since then, I'm unable to use AiSuite, PC PROBE II and Speedfan.

(Speedfan doesn't record my CPU temperature).

The only program that works is TAT/Coretemp.

Please help,

Thanks.

What temps do you need to read other than the CPU? Just use TAT. I have never had my mobo temps or HDD temps go too high.

Crap, that happened to me the first week I got my P5B-D, it has to do with the BIOS, I can't remember what it is exactly but for about 3 days I was messing around till I finally got to install AISuite.

Eventually you might get to install it but that for sure happened to me, twice and in both cases I was able to fix it.

I'd say reset the BIOS and let everything set at stock or change the OC settings to manual but give it the default values, such as 266fsb with ddr2 800 and the rest at default. Including timings and CPU features.

Thanks, I'll give that a try later. I was pushing the Reapers to 2.45V and my windows was corrupted. I changed the BIOS from 0804 to 1001. I think I just need to diddle with it.
