You really can't suggest such a high voltage right away considering at 2.8GHz+ with these A64X2's, the heat picks up big time once you start adding vcore even in 0.025V increments. As far as I'm aware, stock volts on the X2 5600+ is variable between 1.25 and 1.30V?

Give it 1.4V and work your way up. Keep a close watch on the CoreTemps, using version 0.95 for definite support for the new CZ revision X2's used on the 5600+ and 6000+. Anything under 65*c for each core is quite acceptable.

3.1GHz would be edging close to the limits. If your current wall is 3.1GHz stock volts, you'll find yourself increasing vcore quite often as you reach the K8 Wall. But let's see how it goes

Alright, I upped the vcore to 1.475 running at 3.11ghz, 240x13. Was able to lower my ram timings down to 4-4-4-12 with 2.2v and everything ran stable in Orthos for 45 minutes.

I further upped my cpu to 242x13 to give me 3.15ghz and ran Orthos, it runs fine, but if I attempt to move my mouse the system will BSOD and restart. I tried upping the vcore, but the system temps are getting in the lower 60s.

Any further suggestions? Or have I reached the max OC?

i would say yes, max oc until you can get a better cpu cooler.

Try different CPU multi and HT. You may have better luck.
