GTS 320 will most likely only be beaten at super-highres, even then the core of the GTS way outdoes the 7950's....

Is it worth the upgrade, i don't know. I'd wait for a bit to see what happens. the 7950GT is still a pretty good card. OC it, higher
post #3 of 9
I actually don't think there is any resolution where the 7950GT would beat an 8800.

8800GTS would be a clear winner in every category I could imagine. Yeah, it's a worthwhile upgrade - but I'd get the 640MB version if you plan on gaming with DX10 in the near future.

Well you only have a 19" monitor which does 1280x1024 (unless it's a widescreen), a 8800GTS 320MB will do great.

I agree with aaronman, go with the 640MB version if your going to upgrade. I dont think the 320MB is worth it IMO.

the 640 might be out of his price range in aussie at the moment...

But it would definatly become a worthwhile upgrade very soon As soon as DX10 games start rolling out....
The 8800GTS, hands down. Although for a little extra I'd seriously reccomend getting 640MB in preperation for the likes of DX10 games.
