that is what I would do.
well ya, the only thing i have left are my dimms and my 2 gpus..i was thinking of trying to do a fixboot provided i can get into a prompt.

ill try that next and see what it does...but ill have to plug in my second gpu eventually, so im wondering if this crap will start again when i do...

which brings me to my next question..since my cards are attached to an h2o loop, can i unplug my card and support it with somthing non-conductive at the bottom of my case? since i dont wanna do my entire circuit again!

yeah as long as you dont put too much stress on your water loop.

keep a super close watch on it to make sure that you see no leaks.

absolutely! i just didnt want to accidently short my card by contacting metal..i think so long as the power is disconnected to the card i should be ok..i think my loops pretty solid, but im not taking risks!

if your card isnt plugged into the board there should be no power going through it unless it is powered through a four pin adapter to the PSU. In that case, unplug that too.

have fun.

Hey, also you can disable whatever you're not using in the BIOS like Com ports and what not to give you less chance of having resource conflicts. (They take up IRQs, Memory address blocks, DMA etc.)

alrighty fellas, round 3.

well i took out my secondary gtx and got a little coolant on it, so i hung it out to dry for a while (not to mention i have to reseat the block)! ack!

anyhow, i after i did that i got a damn driver irql error DURING the windows installation. so at this point i was kinda thinking.."ok, what the hell is this"

the eVGA tech said it was just vista being vista and i should go back to xp. well im not entirely sure about that just yet, but i still have a couple of options.

i did get a successful install of windows last night. i didnt install anything yet, so we will see how that goes.

oh to rule out ram errors i ran a mem test and got 5 passes with no errors, so i dont believe thats the prob either.
