System stable, can be more imrpoved?

Hi people,

Now my system is stable at 2.9ghz with temps in the safe range:

Do you think I can change any ram settings to improve the performance?? I'm using vista ultimate x86 right now for your reference..

thanks in advance

Perhaps clock your RAM a bit higher, or just try to clock your CPU higher. Until you get into unsafe temps, keep moving it higher. When your temps start to get too high, then you hit your limit. Don't worry about how high you can get with low temps. Just push that thing for all its worth (without getting overheating issues) and then see what there is to do next.

What voltage are you at currently with that 322FSB ? Clocking the RAM higher than the CPU will not give any performance gains.

I would consider improving the memory to DDR2 800 if you're hitting a wall there. What is your "safe temp range" ?

the voltage is 2 values up from the stock voltage of 1.325...

and my load safe temps is like 53-54c tcase in fanspeed, and 62-63 tjunction in TAT (just for reference)

with a hot ambient temp of 30-32c

how can i improve to ddr 800??? because i tried that in the past raising the mem multiplier and i made a mess with my old winxp installation (get corrupted)

No lol I meant actually buying better RAM. You can push it to 1.375v easy btw without raising temps too much.

Try 1.375v and 350FSB. Make sure the PCIe Freq is locked at 100. This gives ppl problems sometimes.

lol, i just buyed that ram, so i have to do what i can with it, and about the fsb an vcore you recommended me I have to check it, because i tried 334fsb with 1.35v and got 1 or 2 grades over 55c tcase (speedfan), and a unstable system tested with orthos...
