help with my ati x800 pro

Thread Starter
hello all over the last few days iv been having problems playing games on my pc mainly online games live like MOHAA, i keep lagging out my ping is only at 45-49 so the internet is fine, and im thinking my gfx card is on the blink, in everest report its telling me that the powersupply too my gfx card is not plugged in but it clearly is, and over the last few days mainly today my system keeps rebooting its self when trying too start MOHAA, people in the game can see me lag out and have said its my gfx card, does anyone know of any programs that can do some sort of test too see if the card is running ok, iv fitted a really old 128mb card and everythings fine and dandy while playing games, the temps on the card are fine a steady 40c its not overclocked but if i try too o/c it the system reboots too.

Do you think its time for a new card??

I assume the system you're talking about is another one (b/c of your system information)...does that system have a decent power supply? Because restarts/crashes sounds like the power supply might be failing.

A high ping in games is defenitly not your GFX card

Check the power supply, indeed it might be failing.

ping is not effected by the GFX card
altho of course, having a weak gfx card can lead to a severe case of framing (around 30 frames or less) which loooks like lag,but its not its just a silly slow frame rate

you should at least have a 500 watt PSU to run anything this days......lol
