Any suggestions?

Thread Starter
new to overclocking, just wondering if any of you's had some recommendations about my system. it's an e4300 @ 2.4 using stock hsf and cores idle at 19 & 20 celcius, haven't really put a good heavy load on it yet so load 100% temps are unknown. i've tried up my fsb to but anything above 2.6 and i start to get random reboots and bios freezes etc... i'm using nothin fancy, just an asus p5b. im using basically cheap ram, corsair value select and some samsung stuff that i ripped out of old comp, could this be holding me back?? it's pc2 4200 @ 266. any suggestions would help, thanks!

Your ram is most likely limiting you, you might also have to up your voltages. Someone with a 4300 will be here soon to help lol.

try searching for threads related to OCing the P5B as there are many. Also your RAM could very well be a factor, what FSB and divider are you running?
