Speedfan: what are all the diff temps?

Thread Starter
I downloaded speedfan and am just wondering what all the different temps are. The read out is as follows:
Temp 1: 36C
Temp 2: 40C
Temp 3: -2C
HD0 : 27C
Core 0: 37C
Core 1: 40C

Im guessing that HD0 is my harddrive, and that the core 0,1 are my CPU cores. Im also guessing that temp 1 and 2 are my T case reading and the motherboard ambient temp reading, but which is which? Also what WTH is temp 3? Im guessing that its an option that this board doesnt have, but could on other models or something. One other thing is that the fan 1 is running at 450000 rpm according to speed fan (lol)

I also notice that there is an option to pick your mobo under the clock tab, but mine is not listed. The real reason I am asking is because I was wondering if there is a way to monitor the NB temps on this board. Thanx in advance

What I did was cross reference all the temps with temps from Everest(link).

It ended up as being

Temp 1: CPU
Temp 2: North Bridge/South Bridge(On the p5n-e afaik it is an average of the two temps)
Temp 3: Didn't show in everest
HD0 : Harddrive
Core 0: Core 1
Core 1: Core 2
