Hey guys! Im build a slim media center pc! I have everthing listed on the bottom and a silentx cpu fan comming thursday! Alow with 2 80mm fans to replace the psu one and the one on the top of the case! Trying to get lower then 18DB. Snice the case is very small how would i go about making the HArd drive quieter??????

Lol, getting lower than 20db from a case is hard. You will need to use passive cooling everywhere possible. Like this cooler for the cpu. And use low flow fans when possible. Coolermaster makes some low flow, dead silent 80mm fans, i have a few actually and love them for their complete silence.

The best way to silence a hard drive is with silicon rubber drive mounts. You can buy kits to do this, but you would need to have a free 5.25" bay. If you dont, I'm sure you can rig something up. Check www.silentpcreview.com for more tips
