Microsoft Surface - Page 7

Virtual desktop for business. A completely clear (physically) desktop, and yet have your inbox in one corner (of course all "paper" is email), browsing through virtual documents in the center, and perhaps highlighting the minutes of last weeks meeting. This is probably going to be huge for corporations, especially magazines, newspapers, graphic design. This could totally change how people work at a "desk" - just like how the PC did.

I suppose once it gets on and about itself it could become valuable; the technology, at least.

Wondering how it'll feel editing footage on that thing. Or, better still, when the horsepower will arrive to do such a thing.

I wonder what CPU's in it. xD

...but...but what do you do when it BSODs?

Also, did that guy in the OP's link/middle video look like a hitman planning out his getaway route after "taking care of" his next "client"? He kind of gave me the creeps...

Kidding aside; holy crap that is awesome! Now I just have to wait 7~10 years for one the size of my wall to become affordable. Sad part is, by that time, there will probably be something else out that is better. *sigh*

Seen these things before, but by a different company. They had a video on youtube somewhere where they play some game that looks like oblivion or something.

Dude, MS is getting ready to rock your socks, they are in it all the way, and they come up with the most useful stuff ever. Unlike macintosh, ms will advance to the next era in no time. This tihng would be out and inexpensive in about 8 years
