Yeah but since it's on the band, couldn't you try setting it different from the band to see how it reports?

Like set it to 670 and see if it reads as 670 or if it drops to the lower band?

This is what I get at 670.... funny thing is that the hardware monitor of RivaTuner reports 675, while the part where you can set the clocks reports 675... Note that the clocks are set in ATITOOL, and YES, I did hit the 'set clocks' button in ATITOOL.

Wehn going down in clock speed in ATITOOL, it doesnt change either until I drop below 662.

Can this be confirmed by NVIDIA ?

Well if that's the case then I need to revise my over-clocking once more. Right now my 8800GTS is clocked at 600 Core and 900 Memory, that means that my Core is either set at 594 or 621. My Memory should be alright at 900, since that number can be divided by 18 (18x50=900). But I wonder how I can set the clocks for the Shaders using RivaTuner, is it possible or is it something that is done automatically ?

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) but when you overclock the core the shader clock is automatically overclocked with it
