Assuming you are talking about air cooling, stay below 60c.

What are your temps like? With cooling, the lower the better. The question you posed is subjective so its hard to get a definitive answer.

right now im getting up to what i think is 60c in orthos when it is only been running for 2 minutes! i think i might want to remount hsf?

after 2 min i think it's as high as it's gonna go

i would say 60c is good 70c is pushing it

so just keep the temps when running orthos or superpi under 60C? How long can i expect the processor to last on that overclock on everyday use?

You should be able to get higher then a 3.0 unless you have a really bad week. What are you volting it at? What is your ambient temp? A reseat probably would do you good.

With your cooler, @ 3 Ghz, you should be at or below 55* on load, (depending upon ambient). What's your Vcore set to?

I'd drop your Vcore to around 1.3 V and try to find the lowest stable vcore. If you're still running hot, time to reseat your heatsink.
