Asus P5N32 E SLI + e6600 cant get over 3ghz? - Page 3

0802 has known issues (as was 0702). I had a number of stability issues. Go directly to the 1102 bios.

I would not recommend it. Use a usb key and flash from the bios (ez-flash program) or the floppy drive method. Flashing from within windows is a very bad idea.

NB voltage is critical to maintaining a stable overclock on these boards.

could this be a Bios problem, its revision 0802
Set the NNB at 1.5 minimum if youre serious able a stable overclock.

You are mostlikely gonna need some NB cooling for good overclocks as well. I board (P5N32-E 680i) was hitting 500MHz FSB with water cooling but wasn't getting there with the standard passives.

I only want 370mhz x 9 I have a Akasa 40mm screwed to the NB plus 5x 120mm fans.

Iv update the bios to the latest and my pc is super unstable even at 3ghz? loads of BSOD and restarts.

Could somone please give me their bios saved file with reasonable memory settings that should work with all memory?

I just cant beleave how instable this new bios is. I cant even load the old bios saved file as its not a bin file, it dont show in bios.

A Update to a old but ongoing problem. Iv invested in a new PSU, a Enermax Infiniti 720W, this should totaly rule out the PSU issue with my overclock.

When I get my PSU il update what happends from there.
