check your bios for an option to change front side bus, if there is one, try doing 3-5 units to it and rebooting, eventually the computer won't work, reset the cmos and try the last setting that worked. there is good OC tutorial on this site under intel general or intel cpu's forums. I forget which one though. also with stock cooling, you won't be able to OC very far

thats good to know but i don't really like messing around with the bios... and my multiplier switches between 12 and 17 it depends on how big the load is... i also want to know if i can make the multiplier go higher and how i can unlock it.

no you can't unlock it, unless you have an extreme edition chip, which you don't. it's much better to do it in bios, if not there re programs, but I wouldn't recommend it

just look around, if it is a custom built, you should be able to find an option that allows you to chane front side bus or FSB. it sjpuld be located near where the multiplier is viewed. if you can't find it flash your bios to a later version, or I guess you could use clockgen
