I wrote this number off the cpu SL9ZL and then theres L707A530...

really? i must suck at overclocking then because i cant get this past 3.2ghz on my 680i lt with a tu 120 extreme....i must be hooking it up wrong because my temperature is always 45 C...i reseated the heatsink like 5 times!!!

Possibilities:
1. you have a bad chip
2. HSF not installed properly but u redone it 5 times
3. Temp Programs not reading it right.. what prog u use?

my e6600 needs 1.475 volt to get to 3.4 Ghz..

I've personally talked to a few people that had sketchy OC results from the LT chipset... I might point my finger in that direction. What memory settings and bios voltages are you trying?

i have g skill 2gb...the more expensive ones that have good ratings on newegg...i set it to auto...and i think its something like 5 7 7 7 2t or something...

are you reading the temp for CPU or the Cores? I think you should read the cores' temps. cuz thats the same temps I have with Coretemp and TAT. Speedfan's cores's temps are about same as TAT's and CoreTemp's
