I think its a pretty good upgrade, multi core is a standard these days. But I'm no expert

that's a very good cpu. I just bought one last week and let me tell you those toledo cores are heavy overclockers. Remember this is the same core the FX-60's were manufactured on. All of them will hit at least 2600 Mhz with proper cooling/psu/MB
