Why does it say i OC to 3.8

I successfully overclocked my e6600 to 3.4 @ 1.5 V...which is high i guess but it says 3.8 in orthos and system info...y is that???

well it is indeed at 3.4 Ghz. but some prog will show 3.8. 425 x 9.. but you actually have 425x8 correct? theres nothing to worry about.

Did you lower your multi? Most programs dont notice if you change your multi

That's because Orthos is not reading the part where you're using the x8 multi but it thinks that you're at x9 multi, which it's why you get (426x9) 3.8ghz.

But CPU-Z does recognize at what speed the CPU is running.

No bug, just Orthos that doesn't know what it's doing.

Orthos only reads the FSB and the native multi.
