Oi..

Games are not bad guys. Moderation is the key.

When I was a senior in high school, I was totally addicted to Lineage 2. I played it everyday, all day. Though my social life suffered (except for my social group who also played L2 with me), my grades most definitely didnt. I had near straight A's. At last, I finally realized how bad my social life was suffering, so I quit L2, and my social life repaired itself.

I soon went back to L2, but I kept it in moderation. My social life continued to grow while I still enjoyed my time in game. I learned how to not let the game take over my life. I also found a new hobby: guitar. Ive been playing everyday since my senior year in highschool. I just recently learned how to play Embryonic Journey, now currently writing songs with a friend. Throughout my time in L2, I got my bladedancer to 67 on devianne (not a huge accomplishment at all, but L2 really requires a lot of time), and eventually quit because of all the grebayers and farmers. I now currently play WoW, and again, my social life is still great. I never choose to stay at home and raid with my guild instead of going out with friends. I only really play wow in the mornings or evenings when nothing is happening.

Point is, when I was addicted to games, my social life suffered. When I kept it in moderation, my social life was great. Moderation = key. If you believe that all gaming is bad, then I feel sorry for your kids (if you have any/plan to have any).

I play alot, well actulyl not nearly as much as i used to. My hobby is being a computer entusiast and gamer on the side actully. I spend my time infront of the PC mostly reading up on random stuff, or "window shopping", or doing school work. I think I might end up playing alot more soon tho w/ halo 2 on the way from Fry's. yes, I am a PC gamer, and a halo addict, lol.

Some of us truely are addicted to video games but i go w/o playing a single game for nearly a month then spend 4-6hrs a day for a few days outta nowhere pwning on CSS or sumthing like that... I can, and have, gone w/o a computer(not just my main rig) for days, and weeks b4.

My computer hobby started as gaming, then I lernt waht was inside the beige box that ran Doom, lol. I played doom when i was way to young, yes; many of us probably have actully, hehe. I rember my dad rebuilding my old old old AMD system when i was like 4, maybe 6 and asking wat dat, what dis, playing w/ the cpu, etc... I was hooked I didn't really start my computer hobby till I was 13 and built my 1st rig tho.

wow, why did i jsut write a small auto-bio?

addon: If you think about it if gaming keeps you away from truly destructive habbits like drinking or drugs, why not game?

I get bored with games pretty fast, every day or two I play a match and that would be all. I have more of a problem with the internet.

Getting fresh air, and food if you eat them

I like fishing, despite it obviously being a cruel sport.

I don't think I play as much video games as most people that consider themselves 'gamers' do. I look at XFire profiles of friends and other people, they have like 300+ hours on multiple games, or 100+ hours on a few games and then like 600+ hours on one game! I have about 150 hours on CSS, 140 on CS 1.6, 30 on BF2, and 10 on Halo PC. Then everything below that is 4 hours or less. And this is over the period of about 2 years I've had XFire, and I really didn't play PC games much at all before then. And I never really liked console games a whole lot, so I didn't play them much.

Although when I feel I should have been studying, I did find myself heading towards my computer and double-clicking that little icon with the Counter-Terrorist and his MP5...
