Hey, we are brothers in the P5N-E SLi club. Let's not argue.

PS. Go look on NVidia website, clearly states FX series is DX9.

Yeah christiaan, i know it SAYS its DX9, its plastered all over the box (i still got my 5900XT, in fact, it was in my old rig which i only upgraded last week) But even though it claimed it could do dx9 every game defaults to dx8.

Even when nvidia where demonstrating Half Life 2 on the 5900xt in the options they say like "see, here is the game running in DX9 rendering mode" but on the screen it cleary said DX8. and the drop down menu was greyed out so you couldnt even change it.

nVidia TNT2 RIVA Model64 32MB

What a POS! Randomly deleted it own drivers, unseat itself from the slot, and randomly crash during games.

Played Day of Defeat at an incredible 15 frames per second @ 1024x1240!!!! I can't believe I put up with it for so long! hen i wanted to game for any longer than 20 minutes I had to take the side off of the case, put the PC next to the window, open the window, and hope that would solve my overheating issues!

ALSO the stock 30mm fan on it made the most HORRID grinding and whining noise in the world and it was like that from day 1 of receiving it!

Ah, I <3 my 7600GT

Sapphire x700 - In order to get it to work properly I had to install an earlier version of ATI Omega drivers. ATI's 6.1 drivers were okay (freezes every few hours and computer restarts), ATI's 6.4+ drivers did the same as the 6.1 drivers, except about 6 times more frequently (computer froze, did this weird thing, and restarts less than 1 hr after boot.)

On top of that, I tried my x700 card on one of my other computers. While I now thing it might have been a power issue, I couldn't get the card to work with any ATI drivers--it would completely distort the GUI, not readable. The generic drivers that Windows installs made the card at least function. The card does not function on that computer.

By far my best card is my FX 5200 (I have two now), because it has been very stable, and drivers are nice (though, nvidia drivers are getting a little bloated.)

However, once I could get the x700 card to work, it was a decent card, far better than the FX 5200.

Lol. Okay, maybe that was the worst card... or maybe my old Hercules 64mb. They both had huge compatibility issues (ie didn't function well at all...)
