Ok, here is the summery. Correct me if i get anything wrong.
At boot up, Information is sent from your harddrive to your ram. All of this information is the most used and most necessary. This is done because the Harddrive is the slowest part of the machine and information can be retrieved from the ram alot quicker then from the harddrive.
The ram is Double Data Rate(DDR) which means that two (two what?) are sent from the ram to the processor in one cycle. One cycle is one cycle from the computer clock(built in the mobo) that received waves or electricity like an on and off switch. Once on, once off being one cycle.
The processor works the same way. It is quad pumped meaning it sends 4 (of what?) to ram, harddrive and so on. It is called quad pumped because these four happen in one clock cycle of 266.5mhz which equals the processors FSB speed of 1066mhz.
The stuff stored in the cache is data from the ram that is waiting in line to be processed.


Whats wrong with this?

But, FSB is determined by the computer's "clock". Used to be a crystal would vibrate at a certain Mhz rating (200, 266) whatever...

Now, the FSB would be a multiplier of that clockspeed, and then the CPU would be a multiplier of the FSB speed.

The frequency rating is just how fast the data goes back and forth in one second...

When you increase the FSB, the cpu speed is increased because the multiplier for the CPU is the FSB x *insert multiplier here*

a GPU stores the texture data on the VRAM.

Maybe it would be better to google an idiots guide to computer building or something...they might have pictures, better explanations...stuff like that...

DDR RAM transmits data twice per cycle, quad pumping transmits data four times per cycle.
That's pretty much it.

ok, FSB is transfer path to and from the CPU. what other bus's are there, what do they do?

Hmmm not so sure... I only know of the FSB....
