Need Memory advice.

Thread Starter
i just bought the AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600 Brisbane cpu and Biostar K8M800 Micro AM2 mobo combo deal on newegg. The biostar site states that the board can use 533/667 ddr2 memory. Can it use 675 ddr2 corsair memory? its linked below.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145573

i'm asking because this is GOOD memory for cheap and i'm wanting to know if it will help when i try to overclock. i know the mobo isnt the best for OC'ing but will the 675 ddr2 ram help? or will it cause problems?

What about buying DDR2 800 memory--sure it will downclock to the stock FSB of the mobo, but it would allow for better overclocking I would think. The only reason I bring this up is 'cause it's so dirt-cheap right now--might as well just buy some 6400. Any thoughts?
