I have the S3 and I had to put it in sideways. Thats fine for me because I have my case totally open and lots of fans blowing into the case. It works fine that way. If you put it in normally you'll run into capacitors and stuff.

Between the two, unless you have huge problems with temp, get the RAM. You can lower the clock a little to lower the temp, but your performance will go up a lot because of the RAM. 2GB of RAM is really nice.

Well, both my heat sink and CPU is lapped but not to the copper finish. I only had a SINGLE 1200 grit and I used it, yeah. I was having serious problems before lapping (50C idle ~ 70-80C load). Lapping a bit of the nickel of the CPU and somewhat off the heat sink fixed it.

As you guys suggested, I'll get another stick of RAM since I can amazing run my CPU at strange, low vcores. And if I were to get a heat sink later on, the thermalmake ultra 120 seems very nice.

Thanks all for voting ~

Your 6400 will play all games fine, where as the RAM won't.
