Someone above said the 8-series was 1.5 years old? It launched in November and is only 8 months old. Also, graphic cards go to a new generation every 1.5 years or so for the last 6-7 years.
where did u read this, and from ur statement do you mean to say that if I was to purchase the 9xxx series, and a new feature came out the 9xxx will be compatible with the new feature which programmer have incoporated.



soz guys i am thinking that its 08, just been staying up late doing assignment for my university subjects.

And both Geforce 6 and 7 series can do HDR + AA in some games that use source engine like HL2 and Dark Messiah
