Cheap PCIe

Thread Starter
Thanks to my lurking on this site I'm going to build a 3600 Brisbane machine to replace my super old P4. Anyway I just wanted some comments on this video card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130025

The machine is used primarily as a web surfer and media downloader. XP for now but probably vista soon. I would also like the ability to play WoW or similar games if I ever get back into MMRPG. Seems like a 7300gt would be a good deal. I definately wouldn't want anything more expensive. I was also looking at 6200LE, x1050's etc..

thanks

the reason i say this is it is dx10 and it would be compatiable with the newer games that will be comming out

thanks for the quick reply but this is budget websurfer machine. That might play something like WOW, but not guaranteed (I have no time now). A DX10 card is just unnecessary. I would like to keep the budget ~50 or less.

Then I would recommend that you go with something a little more powerful than a 7300. Maybe a 7600 GS?

The 7600GS would be a good choice and should be able to run most games @ medium - high settings

The 7300 is probably your best choice in your $50~ range but if you find a few more dollars get the 7600
