This indicates RAM not that it's something else. Try one stick in each slot... try with every stick of ram. You could have a dead DIMM. If you ever get into BIOS definitely go and up your Vdimm as that's likely why your new Corsair won't work. Are you sure you didn't accidentally static shock your mobo?

I'm starting to think it's the mobo. I just tried that PSU on a socket A setup that I have and it works fine so who knows.

I'm trying to think back to when I installed the HSF and I did use a screwdriver. I'm wondering if I knocked something out of whack...
