Probably not, I would go with 2x120 just to be safe and give some extra headroom.

I would recomend a dual rad mounted with a radbox in the back of the case, or at the worst 2x120mm setup at different points in the loop.

Rad would be a 2x120mm fan rad

You probably want the pump to pump directly onto the CPU or directly into the rad. IF you have it pumping into the res then it will kind of defeat the purpose of having a pump.

I was able to cool a cpu/gpu/NB with this set up. Granted it was a opti170 at 2.8 with 1.7vcore, only a nf4 chipset (not very hot) and a volt modded 6800gt with a high oc on it. The only reason I could cool that with a single 120mm was because I had it setup as efficiently as I could with two fans a push pull with plenty of space to get rid of any dead spots.

So in your case putting it in the case is not going to cool as effectively so you should go with 2x120 to get the job done. Just my opinion here.

Yeah you would be better off with the 240 for sure 360 would be even better..Just run your loop res-pump-rad-cpu-any other blocks thats how I run mine...If you have to use a lot of extra tubing to run it the way just run it however but always have the res right before the pump or you will starve it for water and get crap temp's...

Well if you have any tools and some skills at all you can do this and build a box for your case for it. Its cheap about $15 at autozone, 77bonnie rad
I used two old fans that I took the inurds out of and used them as shrouds for the two working fans. Its mounted on the back of one of my cases right now and initially I saw cooling the NB and cou that temps were 27c in bios for a 6400with 1.43vcore and 3.0ghz. That is with fans at minimal speed or whatever there just bestbuy specials nothing that great.

I've also been looking to get into wc with my v1000, would this be a good option?

It seems fairly easy to setup and seems to have everything needed and has a lot of room to expand in the future
