Comp Problem

Well im building a computer, its about 2 year old parts, and i cant get it running. To start off, i keep getting, Secondary Drive Disk 0 failed, and when i disable the drive, i boot from my hard drive, and my hard drive wont load, so im not really sure what todo. Anyone have any ideas? Because i cant format if my drive doesnt work... I have tried a different drive, and i have tried dif cables btw...

Dependant on the HDD, like a WD, you must remove the jumper if it's a solo HDD!
In other words, check for the correct jumper config and...
Try another cable, it may be the source of your original problem.

i have tried another cable, but not the jumper, and do you think i should reset my bios? or what, kinda dont understand

Doesnt sound like a BIOS problem, but I would try a reset anyway. Look on the drive around the jumper posts and see if it has the letters SL, CS, MA (not in that order) listed somwhere. Set the jumper to the slot assinged the letters MA for your main HD (the one with the OS) and set the jumper to the slot labeled SL for a secondary HD. I guess I should have asked if this is an IDE drive.
