Wireless Connection Problem/or Other?

Thread Starter
I've been having this problem for a while now as I've just ignored it as I don't restart my PC that often, but:

Each time Windows XP loads my PC seems to hang for at least 2-3 minutes before loading certain startup items. This includes my Wireless Connection and Rivatuner among other things. After said time period I'll hear my CPU kick in and these items load like normal. During this time, I also can't open things like Control Panel or view 'Properties' on 'My Computer'.

The reason I think it might be something to do with my Wireless is because the Belkin Wireless Control Panel sits down in the taskbar (unopenable) while this is all happening, but I may be completely wrong.

Now, it's not a big deal... I just have to wait a couple of minutes, but if anyone is able to shed some light on this I would be very much appreciative.

Would it be possible for you to set the Belkin Wireless CP to be loaded on manual and disable it from startup and see what happens?

You could try "Connect on demand" instead of "keepalive"
