overclocking help

i got Intel core2 duo E6400
when i rise the clocking for atleast 10 frequency
the Pc stop running and if i run it , a black screen show up and nothing else
if i want to undo it i must replug the processor

one of my friends said : maybe the problem is in the RAM

can someone tell me what to do?

Yeah i would pull out the ram 1 by one and switch them around see if you have a buggered up RAM stick in there.

if that doesent work post back.

what is "the clocking 10 frequency?" Do you mean that if you raise the FSB freq by 10mhz you either get a no start or blank screen start? PLEASE FILL IN YOUR SPECS! Go to your user CP and fill in your computer specifications.
