MSI Radeon HD X2600 XT benckmarks
Seems like first RV630 samples are out in the wild. What's interesting besides the framerates is the 65nm architecture which seems to work out fine. Forum member NV6800 on the Coolaler.com forum who tested the card claims his system only drew 197W at full load. That's just 51W more compared to when the system was idle.

The system used for the benches consisted of a Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 Dual-Core with an FSB of 1066 @ 2,933 MHz, two Gigabyte PC2-6400 memory modules and a MSI Radeon HD X2600 XT with 256MB GDDR4 RAM. The GPU was clocked at 800 MHz, while the memory's clock was 1100 MHz.

Power consumption is pretty nice... I was a bit dissappointed by the coolaler benches I posted in the ATI forum a few days ago though. I was hoping for the card to be a bit faster. If I had a CF board I may have ordered a pair if they were cheap enough, but too late... my 8800GTS gets here today. If these OC anything like the 2900 they could do fairly well though.

800MHz on the GPU and 2200MHz on the mem and it dosent beat my 8600GTS or even a GT.wich are clocked in at 575 and 675.Also it looks like (for the size of the heat sink) it gets realy hot. Also i got 7200 in 06 at 1024x768 thats a hole 1100 pionts more.ATI realy needs to just move on for the 2000 serice and get somthing that can get 1st place in its class.

I'm pretty sure it performs about the same as the GTS, no? And there's no comparison with the GT.
No the 8600GT is on par with this card it gets about the same score,But the GTS gets about 600 pionts more @1280x1024 and 1100 pionts more @ 1024x768.I have ran 3d mark o6 on my rig and i have goten 7193 @ 1024x768.That is the res that i play my games at i dont realy see that much of a change on my 17 LCD unless you use the max res for this monitor.
