Did some painting and putty work last night.

Very light 1st coat. I'll put down a couple more today.

My side window panel and fan controller (satin black). Everything on the front's going to be black. I'd thought about going with red but because my drives will be black I decided to stick with all black. The front drives are hard to make look good when painted. Anyhow black will break it up some and will make a good contrast I think.

As you can see I have a ways to go with the putty work. A little at a time right?

Keep it up! The paint looks awesome!

Are you going for high-gloss finish or just a semi-gloss?

High-Gloss for the red. Inside of case and everything else that's black satin. Thanks!

Thanks! I hope it all turns out well. This is my first real case mod. I'm learning as I go. I've made lot's of mistakes so far. Hopefully I'll keep them to a minimum from here on out.

As you can see here there is a bad place in the paint. I was recently moving stuff around in the garage an sat something on it. It takes enamel paint about a month to fully cure so it not being fully cured it left an impression. I put down a coat last night and one today. I'll put down one more and then in a few days I'll wet sand it out, I hope.

Thanks Syrillian!
I forgot I had this Bondo. It says that it can be used over paint. I'll wet sand in a few days then use it if i need to fill in any. Then paint over it.
