tr 120 extreme+fans - Page 3

But just to cover all bases, if you decide to go with the Ultra 120 Extreme, and want the best fans:
- If you don't care about noise or power requirements, go with a Delta fan (140+cfm, but thicker fans).
- If you want good airflow/noise ratio that still pushes significant amounts of air, go with the Silverstone FM121 (110cfm).
- If you want extremely good airflow/noise ratio, but it doesn't push as much air as the others I've listed, go with either a Silenx 120mm 90cfm fan, or a Thermaltake Thunderblade (78 cfm).

Hmm,i m not sure will i be able to stick it in my motherboard ABIT aw9max,or all heatsinks have same standard?(i noticed my stock cooler almost touches some "pipes" on motherboard)

A Silenx fan isn't necessarily the best solution.

You need to define what you view as the best. Do you mean best as in the most airflow no matter what, or best as in the most airflow possible while still being under a specific noise rating?

I suggest the Silverstone FM121 then. It blows a significant amount of air without being too loud. Going with higher flowrates may not get you better cooling anyway, as it depends upon how much heat the HSF you choose can remove, too.

hmmm, but do u think maybe i should get a bigger CFM fan(delta 150+)and then manually optimise RPM?
of course,if i reduce rpm i will reduce noise level, and if necessary i can increased it...
