Zumax?

Thread Starter
I just got a Zumax X3 600W PSU. It comes with a sweet "turbo button" on the back that overvolts the case and psu fans until the switch is released. I thought I was getting a Cooler Master Extreme Power Duo 650W, but this one seems much better. It also has more amps on each 12v+ rail, at 20amps each. Plus it looks pretty sweet, gunmetal and purple theme, I think I'll add an extra purple 4 LED fan inplace of the stock black one on the intake side to brighten it up a bit. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the Zumax PSU's? Also, my retail guy that I got this from said that AMD uses them to test hardware or something? I didn't really have the time to stick around and discuss it with him, anyone else have any info about this?

I had a 500w zumax psu for about a year. It failed from user error when I shorted some components out on the case, but I didn't have any problems with it.

Never heard of it......And the PSU is THE most important part of the system. As it powers everything and if it blows........then the other parts blow

Hope it works ok for you

found some more info...this BFG http://www.jonnyguru.com/PSU/BFG650W/ is the EXACT same as the ePower Zumax 650W version (I have the 600W)..looks are even identical...coudn't find any review on my actual PSU though...

but the BFG review should pretty much equal a review of mine since they are the same, BFG just branded it.

BFG has the exact specs on all the rails as mine as well...they even say it is the same as the Zumax in the review, so, yeah
