hi! i just came across this thread.. im a socket 754 user. I have a sempron 2500+ currently runnin at stock speeds. The motherboard is Asus k8v-mx . recently i tried overclocking but after certain FSB frequency it keeps restarting..i know via chipsets suck for overclocking.. but i want it to be stable thats it.. any help would be appreciated!

theres no option in my bios to reduce the multiplier and to increase voltages

nope.. separate parts assembled.. i checked again and cudnt find any options for changing the multiplier or voltages.. it shows the current voltages.. but cant change..

you can do a pin mod to up voltage on the cpu, and use a software app to up your FSB, I don't know, just an idea

umm.. dont know much about pin mod .. will read about it and give it a try.
F3T1sh has the same mobo as me.. maybe he might know how to change the multiplier and voltages if thats possible on this mobo

This is the most stable i can get it, on stock cooling and no voltage adds.

Sometimes when i go into windows it defaults to stock clocks i don't know why tho =/

Did you try turning Cool and Quiet off?? But yeah very nice I have the same proc but its Revision DH-E6 and its stable at 2.4 on stock volts so nice OC
