First time I have tried this. So I have put up the fsb from 200 to 205. This gave me this readout on Belarc Adviser : 2.47 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 but in properties it is down as running at 1.85 ghz. ?.
The fsb apparently goes up tp 215 in the bios, but as I was trying this for the first time, I decided to go up in small increments. The memory however was running at 166. Is that the correct figure, do you think. Since I was slow in getting a reply from another source, I have gone back to the defaults, to be safe until I am pretty sure I can do this right, lol.
This was the CPU-Z result of the overclock.

I know I am a Noob, but all Noobs need a little help sometimes.

if your mobo can make it, your processor should have no prob getting 2.7Ghz. keep pushing it. remember, (assuming you don't go too high on the voltage) you can always reset the bios with the jumper. Ram speed is as important if not more so then core speed.

lower your ram timings, put the voltage at stock, and i bet you could get a 200mhz overclock. bump the voltage up a bit more, and it'll go higher.

I've got the rig in my sig and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I'm using a A7n8X-X motherboard and the 2500-M. Right now I'm stuck at 11x200 (my ram is corsair value select pc3200). The weird thing is, if I change the multi any higher (regardless of what voltage) I won't post, same thing if I go lower (to 10 or 10.5).

Regardless of what happens I can only clock it at it's stock 1.2 (I beleive) or the current 2.2.

Was just wondering if anyone had any idea what's going on, my temps seem to be ok, I'm clueless.
