I'm glad things worked out Nenkitsune. That looks like a nice lap job you have going there. Too bad your 3200 isn't a venice core those newcastles run a little hot.

Hello everyone. I am sure someone has asked this but I cant find anything on it. I have read of people using the Mobile AMD 64 3700+ (AMN3700BKX5BU) on the DFI Lanparty UT NF3 250gb. However, I can not get it to Post at all. I have tried multiple Bios and even tried the Tmod Bios. Anyone have a clue if this processor is infact compatible. If so, please let me know what I need to do to get this Chip working. I hope someone out there can help me, because I am about to go insane.

Thanks,
Charlie. :swearing:

W00t I got a higher CPU-Z validated overclock. 2.688ghz I had to use a clock gen, and 3 seconds after I saved my validation file it sort of crashed and burned hah

I have a 3000 Venice in my mom's computer. the max I could ever get out of that chip (with an ambient temp of 0C) was 2.6ghz, and it crashed before i could even validate it. the best i could get that chip was maybe 2.4
the reason I switched to the 3200 was so I could get a little more power out of it. heat wasn't an issue either. I was able to keep that thing around 55-58 full load, 24 hours stable with 1.77v haha

Well here is my stable 754 overclock. This is my main system and it's fast enough for anything I need it for.

Here's mine, 400mhz OC isn't much, but I'm just using the stock HSF in a pretty beat up case. Not to mention, everyone told me the standard Gigabyte K8NS Rev 2.x mobo is "unable to OC".

It's the thought that counts, right?
Idling at 51*C right now with the stock HSF.

Hey guys my first attempt at an overclock so i thought i would try it on my old computer. I was able to push my amd sempron 3400+ from 2.0ghz to 2.7ghz on decent air cooling. My system specs are in my signature. Just wondering if any of you notice something i could do to make it faster? or mayb something im doin wrong?

anyways here are some screenshots..

CPU-Z Validation Link

love to hear ur feedback.. thanks!

Thats as high as I could go when I had the exact same CPU. Your RAM is running a little slow but you have it at Cas 2 which probably evens out. Have you tried 245*9 with 166 divider? That would be 2200mhz CPU and 200mhz memory.
