MSI P6N sli Platinum

Thread Starter
I'm new to the forum, and haven't tried overclocking since my last rig 3 years ago, which was a AMD 939 rig. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else has used the MSI P6N sli Platinum board and what were all the bios settings they used, what they disabled, enabled. I was looking through the bios and its a whole jumble of I don't know what. I have a couple laptops so I can still search the web while I'm messing with my computer. Thanks for any help.

There are a couple of people on this forum who have the P6n Sli-Fi and have had average luck overclocking with it.

That's a great mobo, and a decent overclocker to boot. Is that the one with the Audigy 2 onboard sound, or am I thinking of the Diamond? Either way, while MSI doesn't make the best boards for OCing, they still make sweet boards and you can still learn how to OC on them really well.

Thanks for the help, I got my 6420 clocked at 3 ghz right now, I might try more later. It doesnt come with onboard audigy 2 but I've always bought MSI boards, they seem to work well for me. I''m not super hardcore about overclocking or anything.
