hey guys iv never had AMD before always intell, and as i thought it was time for a upgrade i thought id move over too AMD for a change.

My old spec is as below but my new is as followed..

Mobo- Asus M2N4-SLI
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 4600+
RAM - Team Elite 2x 1GB DDR2 533mhz
GFX - Nvidia NX8600GT x 2
HDD - Maxtor Sata 2 16mb 320GB

Its on stock air at the minute but as soon as i get the right water block for the mobo ill be sticking that in too..

What you guys think of that lot, have i made the right choices???

Oh btw do i need too get a 64bit copy of windows of will the 32bit version i have be ok, iv got both xp and vista?

thanks in advance nathan

Your 32 bit XP and Vista will work fine, although if you want a 64 bit vista it only costs around $10 to upgrade from the 32 bit.

The 8600GT is a great card if your interested in having a DX10 card. Although it offers good performance there are better cards in the same price range that will outperform it. The only reason people reccomend this card is that it's DX10 compatible and it overclocks really well. Like the others said go for the 8800 since it will offer better performance, not to mention it will give you the opportunity to get another one and put them in SLI.
