What 120mm fan on Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme?

Thread Starter
Today im buying a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme as well as a new dfi motherboard for my 3600+
I haven't overclocked for a long time so im not 100% sure whats best/good
I can two stores i can go to today, here are the links of the 120mm fans and if anyone spots a good performer let me know - rep will be given =)

Remember prices are in NZ$ so they may seem expensive to you guys
http://www.ifocus.co.nz/Cooling+Solu...ns/120mm+Fans/

This store is a lot more expensive (compared to other NZ stores) but has a lot of high end stuff that most nz stores won't stock

http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/comp...ttypeid=40&t=3

Thanks a lot =)

Try and get a High CFM fan for best performance such as a Silverstone FM121

I can't get that one, thou i have silverstone branded 120mm's in my Silverstone case. Would that be just as good? is there usually the model number on the fan itself?

try to get the specs for them, the higher the CFM the better the performance but the louder they will be

How about 84.7 cfm? is that a decent rating?

Higher CFM the better. Get whatever sound rating you can put up with and then sort by CFM.

I'm about to order some SilenX fans - 90CFM @ only 18dBa.

CyberDruid is selling them as well for cheaper - check him out in the for sale section.

From what you show as available I would go with the 120mm Evercool high speed. Put it on a fan controller if you want, but you need some airflow through the Ultra.

My case has plenty of air flow. i was looking at that - Thats the store im getting the thermalright from But i was looking through my box-of-computer-crap and found a Titan branded 120mm i googled the model number and its also 84cmf and it cost me half the price of the evercool listed on that site

is 84cmf good? or is it more lowend
