Fedora 7 + forward/backward

Hey, i just got this OS installed and was amazed that the mouse's side buttons (forward/backward) worked on internet browsers. All of a sudden, though, they stopped working and instead are only highlighting text

Any idea how to get this working again? I've always hated Linux for not supporting mouse side-buttons.

The backward and forward stuff is hard coded in the Firefox browser (should in the newer Opera browser too if I remember right).
Any way look here.
