ooo!

nice machine! *drewl*

OIC, well, do your research man ^_^.

alternatively, you COULD buy one of those 5+3/4" HDD bay holder (goes into your "cdrom" bay so you can fit a HDD there) and use those..

How many of those slots you have free?
That would save you considerably

Actually good point you could just use any spare Optical Drive Bays by using a 'caddy'

I've actually got a full drive cage available in the front of my armor case ... but *MAN* ... I'm not even slightly interested in adding even more cables to my interior ...

Seriously ... the inside of my case is almost a disaster as it is ... so many power cables and ribbon cables ...

Will probably just drop the change on a 500gb or 1 TB external drive ...

Thanks for the posts ...

what!? lol

you call THAT crowded? Thats sufficiently tidy IMO (you should see MY retro rig ) - its a disaster compared to that.

hey - so long as your ambeint temps stay fine (you seem to have 120 in and out ) you have nothing to be concerned about.

Unless you're like some of the guys on here who give it all up for SHOW .
But afterall, this is your work PC right?

Every PCI slot full ... I'm certainly giving nothing up for show!

Otherwise, having 3 drives in the machine already, along with two PCI cards having front 5.25" breakouts, and all of which having power connectors ... I'm just going to stick with the external option.

Thanks for the tips!
