for a single 88GTX you will be fine with a good 500-550watt psu from a good brand
im in love with the hiper 580watt type r modular power supply
its pretty and efficient
i recommend it to alot of people

It depends too on the other components you're running in your rig. Five HDD's in RAID, watercooling, an overclocked dual-core cpu and four gigs of ram will take their toll. Remember, too, that it's not the wattage that really matters, it's the amperage on the rails.

Something else to take into account, and not often mentioned, is the weight of the psu. A good-quality psu will be a hefty brick in your hand, because of the quality of the heatsink material.

You can also do what I did - go ghetto and hook two psu's together. My 350w solely powers my gpu, and it's all good.
