Yeah, I think you are doing quite well were you are. 3 GHz or so is all AMD's can hit usually, and the performace increase from 2.7 probally isn't worth it.

Have you tried setting the HT to run in the 1100-1200 range, some AM2 MBs like that! The old keep it below 1080 from the 939s don't seem to apply in all AM2s!

I'd try the modded bios--at least there are memory timings you can tweak with, and other such features--might help you get another couple hundred MHz if it's at all possible.
