wondering what kind of cooling i will need

i was wondering what kind of cooling i will need for an AMD Athlon X2 64.....
her is the link to the mobo and cpu combo i want to get...

could someone recomend me a good but cheap cooler for the cpu that will fit on the mobo. any help will be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure what your budget is, but the Arctic Freezer 64 works really well for $30

The Big Typhoon is awesome as well (it's really big though) but the price is a bit steeper at around $45

yeah i agree, it's the best cooler for $30, i've see load of reviews about it and it's all good there!

my friend has that cooler, he is 2.8ghz on a opty 165, i think that what he's at stably

thanks alot....now i need to find a canadian website that sells it... too bad tigerdirect.ca doesn't sell it... would a cooler made for a socket 939 work well on it even thought the cooler does not mention being able to cool a X2 64.... also would someone be so kind as to find a good cooler for me on tigerdirect.ca ... it would be much appreciated... i'm trying to put everything on one bill so that it all arrives at the same time..... i was checking this one out... does anyone here think that it would work?

it does... one of you guys helped me remember about a site that sells the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro they also sell a version for intel cpu's.... i can't wait till i get and build my new pc.....

i also wanted to know...

will i get a good rating with vista?

ive got a 3600+ Bris @ 3.0Ghz with a Thermaltake Big typhoon

with fan speed set to the point just before it gets loud with ambient room at 75F

max temps with both cores at 100% are about 50F idle goes down to as low as 31c

oh and i also have my processor and heat sink wet sanded to 2000grit and as5

I'm pretty sure my Vista rating is around 5 on all the sections. I haven't been on Vista in a while.
